Character=Success

It's a common thought to believe that the only way to be successful in life is to be a successful professional, building on your technical skills in whatever craft or profession you call your own.

If you're an engineer, you may think that finishing projects more accurately and quickly will lead to "success". It may be the only thing you need to keep rising up the ranks. But more often than not, character is more important than so-called "hard skills".

Let's use the engineer example. Say you're an ultra-talented engineer but nobody likes you or working with you. Think you'll get far? Think again.

Character is made up of so many different things. Compassion, honesty, friendliness, etc... etc..

The more you master your own character, the farther you'll go.
