I personally feel as though we'd all be in a better place if technology had ended with Windows 95 and the flip-fone (pre-MySpace). Remember? No pop-up ads?! How about movie dates under the stars? The anticipation of the phone call from a loved one and rush to lift the handset when that familiar bell ringing sound filled the house....who could it be???
We have lost our interpersonal skills and humanity faces its own destruction as a result in a world of ravenous greed and instant (false) electronic gratification...

On the one hand, I agree with you @lanceman but as for all the advances, there are advantages and disadvantages. I hope that technology will not replace the human side so important ...
