Why is the world in silence now?
The heartbreaking scenario in Syria, like so many others worldwide that still remain and seem to be endless, should at least allow us ALL to rediscover our virtues and don't just move aside. As human beings, being indifferent to suffering isn't a path or an alternative, regardless of belief or anything else one could imagine divide us. By the pain we see in others, there's yet another chance to show our humanity and give those in need a hand that may help them through the storm they‘ve been put under. Let's light up a little flame of hope for those in Syria... for those who have had to leave their country. We can become an ear for their stories to be told... an arm to rest around their shoulders when they stumble. Let's not pretend to be blind whenever it hurts to see. May the land of Syria and its wonderful people reborn from the ashes.
