It is what will happen as there are so many that will not do this type (or any for that matter), investing. They will forever work as they are told, programmed or want to do. You have the creatives that won't stop creating, you have the business builders that will not stop building and you have the consumers that will not stop consuming... that is never going to change in our lifetimes.

But for the record I stated above; "the ultimate goal is to free ourselves of the "Need" to work... not necessarily to stop working (I find it fun)".
