Kyusho Tactical Control Program
Protection Agents as well as their associated Agencies are under public scrutiny more than at any other time in History. The use of force issue is one that is realizing fierce public attention and enforcement, which is making the field Agent’s work all that much harder as well as dangerous to their personal well being and safety. Whereas the brave Men and Women are facing more brutal and uncaring criminals, with little regard for life, they, the ones charged with protecting us from this vile element, are being forced to treat the criminal with sensitivity and regard to protect them from even minor injury.

The training begins not with initial stages of confrontation such as verbal commands, but where the event escalates to the need for control and restraint. Such restraints and controls as preparation and administration of physical control, search, initiating and actual handcuffing to lifting the perpetrator from the prone position for transport. It also works through many additional stages from street to court and beyond.
This program was not designed only for Law Enforcement, but any and all Emergency Response Professionals and is quickly replacing previous programs in the USA, Portugal, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Austria, Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, France, Greece and beginning in even more.

The KTCP program was released in 2008 receiving POST approval in three states of the US in less than 1 year from release... (Arizona, Missouri and Nebraska). Something that is an ongoing challenge to implement, but therein is the fun.
As a Private Investigator with a security business, I could not agree more. We need to create replacements to the tyrannical control systems currently in place, and then simply walk away from them. Private security, apps like Cell 411, private investigators, and Close Protection Officers are just a few ways to do it too. I plan to take CPO courses soon to get the skills of executive protection. It is an honorable and very valuable profession!
Performed correctly they are indeed honorable professions. I dare say that every one ends up calling for help during a lifetime... when they can not handle something, it's good to know someone will come.
I'm a strong supporter of First Responders, but they work best when they are your family, friends, and loved ones. That is what the militia was meant to be. I also use Cell 411 to better network with them on my phone.
Unfortunately, in many places on the globe, calling the police for help is no longer a good idea. I used to have a badge as a reserve deputy for my county too and I'm currently a private investigator, so I don't write that as some loon.
I know you were in law enforcement for many years, and I know detectives who are outstanding people. There are lots of bad apples too though, and I absolutely hate the out of control special protections and double standards.
