Monday Motivation: Don't be caught up in fake stuff because of the price!

Monday is here again, hope you had a great weekend? I did and I am glad. I believe it's going to be a great and activity filled week for us all and I know most of us would have to purchase an item this week no matter how little. So, I decided to keep our minds alert on this;don't be caught up in fake stuff this week because of the price.
It feels very natural to shop for price than quality because we feel we would be saving ourselves some money. If you check well, most of the time you have bought an item because it was cheap, it ended up not giving you the satisfaction that you wanted.
I can remember sometime two years ago, I went with my mum to buy an electric iron. The sales man brought two irons of the same brand name precisely 'Philips iron'.He told us the iron are both Philips iron but one is more expensive than the other and we could use it for years. At the time,my mum dint have enough money, so she went for the less expensive philips iron. Few months into the usage of this electric iron,it started giving us plenty issues.Obviously we got caught up in fake stuff. To cut a long story short, my mum later went for the other philips iron and we are still using it till today.
It's very natural for us to settle for cheap items when when we can't afford the quality ones. Well, if you can't afford quality, then don't buy it. If it's not so urgent, it's actually wise to wait a little till you save up to be able to get quality.
The good thing about quality items is that they are strong and don't break down easily, they also last longer. If they last longer, that means you won't buy them often and you would indirectly or directly be saving yourself some money. At the same time, you would be saving yourself the stress of being caught up in fake stuff.
So this week, make sure it's really quality you are going for and not just price. You can also get quality for a lower price depending on your bargaining power. Your aim should be to get quality items before you start bargaining though. Quality is good and durable, it makes you feel good. As for me, I would choose quality over price or quantity.

I prefer quality with a reasonable price! Brand names are also a good way to go for but there are some we are just paying for the brand and not the quality. I'd rather pay for more for the quality of that produce because I know I'll be able to use it for a long time.
