The middle child is trying out high school this term and we'll have to see how that goes from next week as this week is mostly fun orientation and "how to learn in high school" kinda things (first year high school), and they start normal lessons on Thursday.
The boys and I have had a bit of a rocky start but the school term (and hence when we start going out again because it's less insane) officially started yesterday so it's actually not nearly as bad as it felt yesterday XD Nothing's normalised, I have one set of science lessons (by an external provider) that has been booked in for the term and we're still feeling out the kinds of things we'd like to do.
