a little late but i dont see why it would worrying, as long as he is ok... there are hospitals tht give injections to help contractions get on their way but i dont think thats a great idea, might prolong the suffering of the wife during birth to a couple of hours (im no health expert im just saying hear say)... a midwive would be a great way to lower the suffering, not sure if midwifes are standart in your country...
