I agree that Cook took the right position on AR for now. Let the other players make the prototype and learn from their mistakes and best practices. Not to say Apple shouldn't try their own alpha or beta product just to get things prepared in the long run, but it's hardly a bad thing to take the slow route when it comes t AR.
