If a person thinks that he doesn’t have any bad habits than he’ll be mistaken, everybody has it, but first of all let’s define what “bad habit” is?
For convenience, we divide the "habit" into two categories:
There are “destructive” and “constructive” ones, we scrutinize them not from physiological but from psychological point of view, why?
Everybody is at his own level of evolution, everyone gets “lessons” and they are very individual, for someone smoking is a past stage, for someone it’s his present day, and somebody is about to face it. It’s three different situations and each of them needs three different approaches.
That’s why it’s important to solve those problems which are psychologically ready to be solved, only in this case we’ll get results, moreover our consciousness is our main tool.
If a person smokes and wants to do it, moreover he realizes the harm of smoking and financial losses but he like the habit too much to quit it, then let him smoke, there’s no need to bother him, there’ll be time for him to “fight”.


But if you realize the harm of smoking and financial losses, you care about your health and want to quit smoking and stop this self destruction and if you’re ready to “fight” it, then this article will be for you.
As you see, we’re going to talk about those habits which you’ve realized as “bad” ones and you want to get rid of them, it can be smoking, alcohol, watching anime for someone, and laziness (the last one is very dangerous, it ruins everything).
That’s why if there’s something to prevent you, you’re tired of it and assured that you are happy, healthy and free without it, then get ready – it’s time for you to win!


As we understand from previous articles, the consciousness makes our personality, our thoughts, actions and forms every concept, stereotype and behavior pattern. Any habit, even bad or the strongest one is a neural link in the brain, it can be big or small, but it’s just a “program” actually.
This “program” lives due to energy, it will die without it. It’s the key to the victory.
How does it get energy? It gets energy from internal and external stimuli, everything begins with external ones. There’s propaganda of smoking and alcohol everywhere, our friends smoke too, and so we’ve got a positive and attractive image, it becomes stronger, we think about it and thus make this “program” stronger, and then we start take an action and bang! We’re trapped.
Any energy makes your enemy (bad habit) stronger; until it has strength you won’t defeat it. So the first step: “cut off power from the enemy”


*** 1) Cut off power from the enemy*** you’ve got to switch off your internal and external impulses, it will be hard. When it’s rooted and strong it will be hard to fight it, because it’s constantly stimulate you to satisfy it, it lacks of energy, it need more and more! It causes internal wish and makes your external attention to play its game.
First of all we switch off external attention; it can be talks to friends, smoking with friends or advertising, scenes from a movie etc. Every external source related with the bad habit is your enemy, so you’ve got to learn to concentrate attention and thoughts i.e. You see attractive image – take away your attention, switch you thought on “anti-example” i.e. a good program, the less you pay attention to external stimuli the weaker you habit will become, and the more you control you attention the stronger you will become.
Now let’s look at internal stimuli, it’s important, it’s the “hunger” that torments you, causes suffering and wants more and more, begging you to “slake its first for the last time then you’ll be free” etc. It’s your thoughts, feelings and action. We do just the same thing – we realize the harm, switch ourselves to positive “anti-program” and don’t allow ourselves to give it lots of energy.

** 2) Anti-program*** It’s an important and necessary stage, it’s a half the battle, you need to follow it from the beginning and help yourself at the first, it’s impossible to quit the habit and just switch the attention without “good army” (counterforce). I mean you need to create a new neuron link in your brain; it should be an opposite, positive program, for example: “I start a healthy lifestyle, cigarettes are my enemy!” What’s important here?
Firstly you’ve got to realize: “Why is it bad? What harm does it bring to your organism and life? If I quit it what change can it bring?” etc. You need to make a strong anti-statement, for instance: “Cigarette is my enemy, I want to live long and be free from habits, and nothing should rules me, I’m in the control of my life!” And so this is your army, they are weak and insecure in the beginning because it needs to be supplied with lots of energy, you should mention positive examples, think of yourself positively, make your good habit stronger, watch special movies, study special literature etc. Use everything (related with the issue) that can bring you energy.

** 3) You’re a human”** Remember, it’s hard in the beginning, especially at the critical and turning points, all you essence will beg you to retreat, lose and give up. And if you lose… it’s ok, yes it’s normal! You’re living person, not a robot. Bad habits might have been with you for years or dozens year, it’s hard to defeat it for a month, that’s why treat yourself with love and understanding, even if you lose a battle you will win the war. And every time you lose – reinforce your anti-program: “It’s nothing! Next time I will hold longer, the victory is near. I made the decision and wouldn’t change my fate, I made my choice in favor of good.” etc…
If your enemy is full of strength while your anti-program has been born , it’s ok, with time it will be easier for you to control your attention, and gain victory over yourself. The bad habit will have less and less energy, while the good one will gain more and more, it will get easier and one day it will tip the scale for you, and you’ll be free and you’ll be very close to your victory, and then there’ll be full transformation and a new, wonderful life.

which year I can not quit smoking((

Not "might", not "want", you are very attached to pleasure, it is very important to be honest with you, I am sure that if you set a goal - throw, and be stronger than attachment to pleasure, then you will succeed! :)

Most did not smoke month. The most difficult thing that smoke all my friends, all the staff at my work also smoke.

Say thank you to these difficulties, they really make you strong ;)

It is correctly written on the second stage. I helped to quit smoking when I imagined that my lungs are filled with smoking white sticky cotton as vividly as possible, and dramatic.
