Your inner child (part 2 of an original poem)

Still stuck inside your body,
as she's knocking at your door
Please help me find my way out,
I can't do it anymore

The trauma that kept you going,
your inner wound will never heal
unless you face your burried pain,
the inner child you feel

Slowely you can sense her,
still very hard to hear
once you learn to calm your mind,
her voice is loud and clear

Promise you won't leave me,
not again, like you once did
let's face the dark together,
be my guide, I am just a kid
