Great post, its true about the laws of promises but I totally agree that a promise being kept is subject to factors, ones word is his bond but bonds can be broken, I don't think a promise should be kept if there are risks that outweigh the good, especially if safety and lives are at risks, as for personal integrity I'm 50/50 on that as I believe we can always build back our integrity with deeds.
