Building a Mini Backyard Goldfish Pond on a Tiny Budget

This is our very first fish pond that we built in the summer of 2016. This pond was only in existence for that summer. We took it down in October and began to build a koi pond.

This is a 50-gallon preformed pond that we installed in our backyard to house the goldfish that we just got from the carnival. We had a budget of $200. The pond and the accessories were $100, plant pot $40, three small koi $27, water hyacinth plants $5. My dad spent about 2 hours shopping for materials and roughly 5 hours of labor. The rest of the materials we already had in our property.
