Lesson #3 of Inner Engineering
Responsibility simply refers to my ability to respond. When i decide, "I am responsible", i will have the ability to respond.
I am responsible for all that i am and all that i am not, all that may happen to me and all that may not happen to me.
My physical existence is only possible because of my body's seamless ability to respond to the entire universe. If my body wasnt responding, i wouldnt be able to exist for a moment.
For example, if i were to discover a body lying on the ground and tapped the person, called out to the person, moved the person - in hopes of a response.
There is no response.
What do you conclude?
The person is dead.
A person's inability to respond to his surroundings is as good as being dead!
In other words, Responsibility is simply just our willingness to respond.
Sadhguru says, "Your action is always limited but your responsibility is unlimited."
In your life, if you do not do what you can do, you are living a disastrous life.
