Yeah, family is a hard one. I found even though people might be toxic, I don't ever want to fully rid them because they might need me as well.

Absolutely. I would never abandon family, but sometimes I have to take a step back. It is easier, I think, for family members to manipulate because they know that you aren't going anywhere you know? In times of crisis, I am probably one of the most reliable out of all my siblings, and it gets old sometimes. So in times of not-crisis, I really try to focus on helping out and hanging with the people who care about me and are there for me, if that makes any sense.
