Hey Steemit, One Month Update!

Hey Steemian family,

So I'm just watching all the excitement on social media about steem lately and it seems the world is waking up! Good times ahead friends, sure some will have to weather the coming storm as the old systems continues to fail; WE will be here holding it down for life, love and liberty. Let's keep growing and steeming on folks!

Which brings me to our vlog and why I haven't been busy on Steemit this past month? Well last time I posted we were finishing up our trip in Phuket. Since then I've started working on how to add bitcoin payment options to our blog and writing up my coaching services. We've also returned to Chiang Mai and have been getting settled in to our life in the north.

The YouTube censorship situation has become increasingly alarming recently and has taken up my attention this past week. As you know we're doing our best to brand ourselves as a cruelty free family that support health, happiness and freedom. However since I've scheduled all my old vlogs to auto-upload and show the whole journey and transition. This in turn has added to the problems with their "community guidelines". Oh the struggle is real, simply expressing ones voice in the modern free world bah! :)

We'll see what happens, yesterday we were officially given a "community strike" which stands on our account for 3 months. It's not like I haven't already re-edited all this content and removed every speck of nudity. Every single pixel of nipple and bum has already been excluded from the vlogs and we're still cornered in some probationary naughty boy corner. In my opinion this is due to their recent tightening of restrictions.

It's being termed the "adpocalypse" and is a reaction to Google's war against "fake news". Some of Adsense's biggest sponsors have pulled their purse strings and many of us are being hit hard by the new algorithm. Mass censoring channels that are deemed to be "non-advertiser friendly" when it's actually our content that creates value in the first place. Loosely this means any mention of sex, sexuality, porn, bitcoin or vaccines, which of course means me.

So for days I was going back through our whole library removing all "offensive" words like SEX from titles and descriptions. By the way this is why the last time I was deleted, I decided to re-brand as Kenicamz and not use my known name "Keni Styles". Since even that is linked to "offensive material" and leaves me feeling, hmmn am I now being personally persecuted against? Is this not offensive to me an individual? Lol thankfully I don't feel bad for it and I don't spend money to advertise on YouTube. It is what it is and ultimately the truth is it's not about sex or porn, it's about freedom.

Moving on, here's a few vlogs about our past month and some final thoughts on Kamala Beach, Phuket. The YouTube system is clearly compromised, though from my perspective it's been evolving this way for a long time. The silver lining I guess is this is great for blockchain applications like Steemit. More people are experience things not working for our freedom and in turn more people are motivated to explore what does work!

Sure all our vlogs are currently hosted on YouTube, however this is only until Steemit gets it's own tube platform. When that happens it's full steem ahead for all vloggers and bloggers. Be live on your first steem dollar, Bloggers from all over the internet will be swarming to Steemit. Where else do bloggers get to earn immediately without having to hard sell anyone on affiliate products or bow down to the ad gods of YouTube? This is it.. the party is here and it's time to jump in and fully support what truly supports us moving forwards.

So here's to more energy and effort towards blogging on Steemit and less on being rejected by YouTube!
