Stop Being A Follower!

What happened to being original, Different and exciting?
These days we all do the same things, Have the same lifestyle. Some of us blindly follow what others are doing because we can't seem to be different from everyone else.

Being a follower later makes us regret most of our lives. Regret can be hard to deal with.

Not Everything Will Work For You

I realized this when I was trying to start my own business; There were so many steps by step guides, Which seemed comfortable enough. So I followed them. Often I didn't get the same results as they had.
Just because something worked for someone else, Doesn't mean it will work for you.
I'm not saying you shouldn't look up the necessary steps to accomplish the goals that you have, You absolutely should.
But don't expect the same results every time. Sometimes you'll need to step out of your comfort zone and look for alternative pathways to success.

Everyone Blends In

Especially if you are starting your own business or brand, Going to a job interview, Or even just a date.
If you look just like everyone else, Do you think you'll be memorable?
When you stand out at least a little bit, you will be remembered, and it will raise your chances of getting what you want.

When I went to a tour of the faculty of my old work. I wanted to get my job back. So even though it was just a tour of a dirty warehouse, I put on a nice outfit and did my hair. When I was there, I was openly enthusiastic about being there and the job that I would be doing.
And it was noticed... Everyone else who was touring the faculty with me, Looked like they wanted to be someplace else.
I kept noticing the tour lady eyeing me, And making small talk with me. While she wasn't doing that with anyone else.
I ended up getting the job easily.

That's the same with products online. If you see the same thing over and over, Are you more likely to pick the one that looks like all the other ones? Or the one that comes in cool colors or styles?

Different Is Refreshing

Life can be repetitive; Sometimes we get bored. Having someone new, Fun and unique can increase our happiness. Sometimes changing it up is a lot of fun. Why be like everyone else when you can be authentically yourself? Try new things, Expand your boundaries. Don't be like everyone else. You don't have to be.

I promote entrepreneurship as a way of both financial Independence and strengthening self and other leadership.

Also being super weird is different so... I like less people than others are! Hehe :)
I always like to be different, I stay away from most mainstream trends on social media, do my own thing and don't do something just because people try pressure me to be like others, nope not this guy! :)

Right? Weird people are the best hehe.
I love that! I notice that with the games you play. Definitely unique hehe. Many of them I've never heard of.

Hehe are you weird? You must be because we get along so well! Hehe ;)
Hehe yeah, sometimes I like to try out games that aren't as common and can find some super fun and awesome ones!
You're unique too, unique and super awesome. Hehe :)
Also very inspiring!

Success is the opposite of being like everyone else. You can't stand out when you look like everyone else.

Exactly! So many people do the opposite of what they should be doing.

Everyone has their own uniqueness to share, I think finding and expressing that uniqueness is the real struggle. I really could care less how people are doing things, whats popular, and what people think of me now, but in the past I really did care and I really didn't have a good self identity. I didn't know what I liked or who I really was because I had been copying people for so long. It seems our culture pushes us in that direction, or has in the past.

Once I got over the hurdle, started exploring things, practicing things I liked, and discovering myself, I really started to feel more complete and like I had more to offer to everyone else, regardless of whether I was liked. So for people struggling with this I'd say get out there and try some things and find what fits for YOU. Spend some time alone to discover yourself, and, like you said in another article, don't be afraid to fail.

Successful people are objective and have realistic goals. They know what they're looking for and what they're fighting for. They do not pursue goals that they can not reach or that do not add anything to them. If you set targets for your personality and talents, and you are moving in this direction in a planned way, you can also open doors of success. As you progress, you will see that even far-reaching destinations are approaching.. @kaylinart

very inspiring thoughts ...we should never scared of being different ...our uniqueness is our identity...

I am living proof of this message. You... nailed it.

Great post @kaylinart! This subject always fascinates me :-)

Your post reminds me of a quote by Gary Vaynerchuk (or at least that's who I got it from):

"If you want to be an anomaly, you have to act like one"

Gary is one of my greatest teachers and I find him to be insanely inspiring. Do you know him?

I listen to all, but Follow None @kaylinart.......

everyone has different actions and the results will be different @kaylinart
