You just published your first book. Now what? There are things you can do before and after publishing a book to help you start building up your platform and to help you get sales. This is important.
There are millions if not billions of books out there. The number rises everyday; You are not unique for publishing a book. You need to make yourself stand out.

Set Up A Facebook Fan Page.

You need some place for your fans to go, It may start off small and silly. But it will grow.
It also gives you an outlet for Facebook advertising.

Have A Twitter!

I don't like Twitter, But it works for some people. Try it and see how it goes. Your niche may be perfect for Twitter, While others not so much.

Set Up A Blog.

You need a place to send your fans; You can update them with whats going on with future books, Add extras for the characters in your fictional story. Or simply give daily life tips. This can be on Steemit, Or on your website. There are benefits to both. While a website is more long term gain. Steemit will give you viewers and a bit of money right now. Which will help keep you motivated?

Fill Out your GoodReads Profile.

Goodreads isn't used very much by authors. So this can give you an advantage. Some places are flooded already with authors trying to get the word about their book out.
Expanding to other lesser known outlets can help.

Use Hootsuite or another social media manager.

It can be incredibly difficult to manage all of your social media while creating content, Using HootSuite or another social media manager will help a lot. You can even us IFTTT (If this then that.) To make it easier for you to post everywhere.

Keep Everything organized

With so much writing, drawings etc. It can be really easy to get disorganized. Its important that you keep everything on track, otherwise it will be more difficult to reuse content.
Use an awesome service like Evernote
to keep your digital life organized.

Publish On Other Social Media Accounts Related to your Niche

For many people that could be Pinterest or Instagram, Find what works for you and stick with it.

Good advice, Facebook fan page does not work actually in my experience unless you pay the greedy network.

Yeah! I still have mixed feelings about it. I don't like the thought of adding everyone to my personal profile, But I have been gradually building up my page.

Me too. I have all my personal friends follow my fanpage, but that's not the idea.
