๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒHike #17: Crazy River And A Broken House! WHAT?๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

in #life โ€ข 6 years ago

This hike was wonderful! It was pretty easy for the most part. And right next to a crazy river the whole time.
It took a lot of self-control not to jump in. The water was so inviting.
Although with how fast it was going, And not knowing exactly where it goes, That would be a terrible idea! Despite me being recognized for those bad decisions at times. Lol

Is That A House?

We came across what looked like a little broken down cottage! It was so cute! But we couldn't find a way across the river to get to it sadly. I can't even imagine how fun it would be to live in the mountains next to a river.
Especially in a cute little cottage! By looking at everything, It appeared to have a bridge across at some point. Because the stairs were leading out of the building and into the direction that we were at.
I wonder if they took it down on purpose. Or what the whole thing was with that!

Is That A Tralier?

We saw a big rusted mess all over the place. That looked like a piece of machine, Or even possibly tralier pieces that had been sitting there forever.
It was weird!

You should totally rebuild that cottage to make it your own! Hehe ;)
That would be so amazing to live in that spot, so long as if the rain really came that the stream wouldn't flood you out.
Might be from early - mid 1900's, being a stone cottage by a river in the mountains.

Right? I Should! I would love it! It would be so perfect except the stream overflowing lol. XD

very beautiful nature pictures, is that Pennsylvania or NY state by any chance, it reminds me of some places there

@skytoin Awww Thank you! It's actually just in Utah :) Cottonwood canyon

You drown not by falling into a river, but by staying submerged in it.
Paulo Coelho ๐Ÿ‘Œ .

WOw creative hehe

Hahaha...
I just remembered this saying of Paulo Coelho when I read what you wrote.
I like it.

I like it too! Lol But it tempts me more!

loool...as you like! โœŒ๏ธ

Looks like a fairy tale witchโ€™s house. Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett suddenly jumped to my mind

Nature's beautiful! I wonder if there are wild animals around there.

What a georgous place! The remnants of the cottage (or whatever it is) are intriguing!

Thanks for sharing @kaylinart. Was that cottage abandoned ?? So cool to stumble upon things like that. I love doing it :)

And the river looks like great for rafting.

Great pics :)

I'm pretty sure this is going to be my favorite post of the day. I've not seen that side of Utah...it looks so much like the Appalachians! 306.jpg

I think not to jump was the best decision you took, it looked dangerous because of all the rocks, the rest was spectacular, the images, nature, in if the cool and pleasant environment are those who make this type of trips enjoyable
