Don't Miss Out on the Oprah Winfrey Cruise

Oprah Winfrey has announced the coming a new three-day Girls' Getaway cruise on the mother ship, Nieuw Statendam, which will be open to the public on 30 January 2019.

As guests enjoy the cruise, they will get the opportunity to meet Oprah as well as her good friend, Gayle King, magazine editor.

The ship is currently under renovation at Fincantieri's shipyard in Marghera, Venice, Italy, and is scheduled to be delivered in November 2018. Oprah will serve as the ship's "godmother." Delegating a "godmother" of a ship is a tradition that dates back over 4,000 years!

The cruise is centered around building friendships among girls.

Patrons will also get to experience three live "Conversations with Oprah," in which she discusses inspiring women she has met throughout her life. Other sessions will include a style segment and a chapter from the popular 'O's Reading Room' in which the ladies can speak with book author/editor, Leigh Haber.

As part of the journey, a meditation class will be offered as well.

The Girls’ Getaway cruise route will consist of a roundtrip tour from Fort Lauderdale, FL, including a stop in Half Moon Cay, a private island in the Bahamas. This could be just the trip you've been looking for to reconnect with your girlfriends!
