Deadly Items Confiscated by TSA in 2018

in #life6 years ago

Here is the rather 'interesting' compilation of items that Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has had to confiscate from airline passengers traveling in 2018.

There were many knives that passengers tried to smuggle in their carry-ons including ones that looked like combs for ones hair at Boise Airport. Concealed knives may result in legal fines and/or arrest.

TSA staff at Nashville International Airport even found a machete and a large pair of scissors. And if that's not enough, they even located a 'zombie-killing' ax at Chicago O'Hare International Airport, a 'Freddy Krueger' razor glove at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and a martial arts sai at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

To add, TSA at Baltimore-Washington International Airport even had to remove a brass knuckle "Batarang," and inert mortars were discovered at both Sacramento International Airport and Evansville Regional Airport. These types of items can cause airport evacuations and missed or delayed flights.

Believe it or not, a dinosaur-shaped grenade made its way to the Denver International Airport, and an inert pair of rocket-propelled grenade launchers were reported at Lihue Airport.

Among others were stun guns, spearguns, and firecrackers.
