We have a massive spider making a home outside my front door.
We have a spider watching over our house, we can't get rid of it, its outside out front door in the top right hand corner near the pole, doesn't look to big in the photo but its quite a size, we were brushing it down then the next morning opening the door he is back with a large web, now we call him our security guard as everyone who comes to the door gets a massive shock.
We had a repair man come to fix my tumble dryer this morning, I heard him shriek before I opened the door. It was here when the shower room fitters where here a few weeks ago. they were wary every time they came. Doesn't matter how many times we move it he comes back and makes a new web, think we will have to box him up and take him miles away.
One morning he is going ti have mt front door covered in a web, we will be spider food .
Thank you @son-of-satire
Thank you @artedellavita
What a beautiful Garden Cross Spider! She's must be catching lots of bugs to be holding her ground every time you remove her web 🙂. https://www.buglife.org.uk/bugs-and-habitats/garden-cross-spider
Oh is that what she is, I think she may trap us one day as her web spreads :)
huge!
Scary huge
He obviously likes where he is. Perhaps if he becomes too great a problem you will have to box him up and take him on a car ride...
He is at home cheeky thing, should charge him board lol
You are the intruder, not the spider:)
That is so true BUT I am paying so he had better start contributing lol :)
it is obvious that he found his comfort zone, you have to move him to the branch of some tree, and in the place spraying with Kaotrina, this repels all kinds of insects and spiders.
I wish you a beautiful afternoon dear friend @ karenb54
There is a large tree close by I will move him there, thank you :)
Trapped!! Do you have an escape door? Can you move him down the path a bit?
Or better still, train him to only attack salesmen.... and skateboarders :-)
That's a good idea I will put a lead on it and train it lol :)
Keep him. He is an added warning bell for visitors. Or, there are very few spiders that can resist two pieces of flat board approaching each other rapidly.
No I don't kill spiders, there good for eating all the nasty bugs :)
Wonderful post. Hardwork pays more so keep working hard! @karenb54 Love it.
Amazing job @karenb54 Followed...
Wow!! He is a big one!!
Getting bigger by the day lol
