Last day of 2017, How will it end in your home?
How are you going to say goodbye to 2017?
Have you had a good year?
Or are you glad to see the back of it?
My plans are boring, staying at home in my pyjamas seeing n the New Year with my hubby and 2 furbabies, My daughter will be out round the town with friends so its just the oldies watching TV with a glass of something.
I remember doing exactly the same, going down town nightclubbing with friends whilst the old dears sat at home with a glass of sherry seeing in the New Year, by the time I got home they were fast asleep in bed.
Do you still have first footers, my father used to send one of us outside at 12.59 then as soon as it turned midnight we were allowed in a few seconds later, we had to greet everyone there with a shake of the hand a Happy New Year greeting, I'm not sure what he did when there was only the 2 of them. Supposedly letting a lucky person be the first to walk into your house in the New Year your house is supposed to have good luck all year
Now all we do is see the New year in with a drink, then go to bed and worry about my daughter getting home.

Got a great sire, the dam is a bit suspect, but can be overlooked. has been on the flat land for life, never had to do it hard on the hill country, Just look at the mane on her, fine well developed chest and those flanks will endure long riding.
What am I offered for this well- bred filly?
My daughter will bring us luck as her and demi step over the threshold drunk and feeling sick. Since we are a 10 minute walk from the town we have Demi back for one night... she is always ill.

This year I am the same as you! Sitting around in my fuzzy slipper and pj's perhaps with a drink. Try to stay awake until 12! Very boring...
I agree its getting harder and harder to stay awake lol I may have to have a nap in the afternoon hahaha
Sounds good to me! (apart from worrying about daughter bit!) we go out with friends then back home where I make the hubs do a vision board with me. It's the only time of the year that he gets reflective lol. Happy new year <3

Here in Nigeria, we spend the whole of tonight in church till the new year...I've not got much of a choice since my mum would always insist I come along. Left to me, I'll rather settle for a bottle of beer

i have a hack of a year had too much fun and when 2017 came and when its over i didn't know just in blink of an eye and i have a wonderful year and i wish the same for you that coming every year became a blessing for you.
