Spring in January in Székesfehérvár
We have to wait for a month and a half until March, but the spring has come early in Székesfehérvár, which is known for mild and usually snowless winter. The blackbirds have been already singing their spring songs. This little birdie is standing motionless in the flower bed, because a black cat lurks nearby:
Snowflowers are already blooming:
There are still some snow on the leaves of palm-lilly:
Hyacinths started to come out from the ground:
This is the largest and oldest plane tree in the city:
It is trendy to put orchids or amaryllis in the windows:

From snow to spring in one day! Love your snowdrop-bells, which really "ring" to announce brighter days (lighter at least). They never fail to show us how there is an inner warmth always waiting to reemerge out of the dark deep.
