THE RIGHTFUL OWNER ( Part-2 )

It was a young couple that stayed near the monastery adopted that poor old man as their father and taking care of him. First, no one care about them and soon after a rumor spread out that the old man had a treasure map which he hides inside the small sliver tube and tie on his waist. Now, the topic about the old man and treasure map was very popular among the villagers again. The fate of old man’s life was amazingly changing. Lots of villagers started to greet the old man when they saw him although earlier they ignored him. Some were send daily food and snack to the old man as they paid homage to him. And some of young men in the village invited the old man as asked him to share how and where he had found the treasure. The quiet farmer, now old man replied to them. “The rightful owner will get it.”

It was the monk who explained about the old man’s life regarding the treasure map. When they were serving in British Army, one day, they had a battle with group of Japanese army in the deep jungle. All the Japanese soldiers we killed in action and among them one of the Japanese soldier was mourning with dying. When the two friends approached to him one took out his rifle and almost shoot to the dying Japanese soldier unless the others friend stopped to him. The quiet farmer offered water to dying Japanese soldier. With great thanks, a silver tube was handed over to quiet farmer before the Japanese soldier died. And end of the conversation, the monk added “I think, that is how he got the treasure map”. And he continued “treasures are only for the rightful owners and no treasures are valuable than mankind”.

Now, the old man and treasure map were very popular among the villagers and everyone in the village wanted to be the relatives of the old man. Some family invited the old man into their house and asked him to bless their kids to become the grand pa of the children. Some were told to the old man that they were how closed to his late wife and some even mentioned that they were relatives last two three generations ago. But whoever or whatever they said, the old man was just smiling at them.

Now, the wife of the elder son started to nag to her husband that brought the father back to their family before others son did. Instead of to taking care the old man, the treasure map was more important to them. And the elder son had no idea how to bag to his father to come back. Finally, unable to withstand with the nagging of his wife, he decided to pay visit to his father, the young couple’s house where his father staying. On his way to the father, he saw his three brothers and they were the same situation with him. With smiling faces, the four sons entered to the young couple’s house and the young couple didn’t welcome to them. When the four sons requested to the young couple that they wanted to bring their father back. But the young couple refused to let go the old man as they explained that the old man was adopted as their father too.
