That's MUD-tastic!

I needed to get creative! The days are better when we can be outside. ☀️😎 How do I keep these boys busy without having to walk 3 miles?

Mud! Mushy, messy, black, wet mud!!

Our grass is already dead because it's dry season and we never run our sprinklers. Dump a couple buckets of water and TADA mud!

As a bonus, the boys created a temporary unspoken truce and there was absolutely no fighting during our mud play.

Running, digging, jumping... They did everything but roll in it. Well they did roll their trucks through it, if that counts.

I love to sit back and watch their imaginations take over. Fletcher's tractor got stuck in the mud and was taking on water. Wyatt's monster truck was able to save him, preventing a harrowing death!!

Wyatt kept saying, "that's MUD-tastic!!" I don't know where he gets this stuff from 😂😂

I did not escape unscathed, in case you were wondering. My legs were covered in black spots and pieces of dead grass. Good thing it washes off.
