432Hz: Growing Pains

Pain is sexy…

Through puberty, my mum constantly told me, “The pain you’re feeling in your bones are natural, they're simply growing pains”. I’m not sure if any of that statement is true, I’m not even sure where she got that from. One thing I do know is, that statement can be directly applied to any and every situation in life.

Hi steemers, Junior here, I just want to take a moment, and talk a little about growth, and the pain associated with growth. To be frank, no one wants to go through pain, its uncomfortable, strenuous and when going through these situations it almost feels as though they're everlasting. Nonetheless, pain is something which must be endured to build character. Look, I’m not going to bore you with the same old “when exercising muscles rip but when they're repairing they grow back even stronger” analogy.

Na.

What I will bore you with, is a plant analogy “For plants to grow…”

All jokes aside, growth can only happen when pain or anguish is present, in my opinion. It’s the pain which irons out the kinks, straightens you up and makes you stronger. A good friend of mine, @Kaif, once personified pain to be one of life’s ‘professors’. I wont ruin his post, but you can either be the deaf student, the blind student or the student which chooses to understand that the pain they're experiencing won’t last forever.

You see, there’s something about pain which is appealing to growth. Pain encourages growth, but can also seduce bitterness. Its cliché, but you can either let the situation make, or break you. Don't become broken or bitter, but enjoy the pressure, get aroused by the thought of you getting stronger.

Live life with love. Don't become bitter. But be better.
