Never Allow Anyone Influence Your Decision
Some few days ago, @ewuoso organized a contest.
A drinking contest.
Where you have to drink at least 2 bottles of an alcoholic drink within a specified time.
I think 150 seconds or less.
The reward pool was 50 STEEM and mehn, considering the rate at which the price of Steem is seriously dwindling, that was a really opportunity that anyone wouldn't want to miss.
Trust me, I also considered giving it a shot, I mean, who wouldn't?
It's all about the money baby....
But hey, I'm not a drunk.
Never drank and never will.
So, drinking two bottles within that time frame was obviously a no-no for me.
People who could actually drink plunged into it and gave it a go while others were scared at the thought of it......
A friend of mine decided to give in to the challenge after much persuasion from friends.
In his words, @olanrewaju poised, "I'm not a fan of alcoholic
But he talked me in doing it"
Resultant effect??
He ended up throwing up and it took a while before he got himself.
Sometimes, people make decisions for us because they feel, since they can do it, you should do.
But it's important that you never allow anyone make decisions for you.
While it might be important to seek advice from others.
Let your final decision come solely and directly from you.
Only you knows what's best for you.
So, next time someone asks you to do something, first ask yourself if you can actually take on that task and be completely sure before you give in to it.
