Saturday marks the 34th anniversary of the day Karen Carpenter died at age 32. Karen's shocking death brought previously inscrutable words like anorexia nervosa & bulimia out of the shadows and into public consciousness. Karen inarguably was among the greatest singers in history, as well as an extraordinarily gifted drummer.
