SHOCKING!!! SQUIRREL EATS A BIRD

It was a very beautiful and hot day today, approximately 98 degrees Fahrenheit - pretty hot, I would say. So I am strolling along on a sidewalk in one of the Southern California cities, passing tall and magnificent buildings, people hurrying on their merry ways, cars zooming by. Everything is peaceful and harmonious. What s beautiful day to have a walk.

As I walk I hear birds chirping, I see flowers blossom, and wind playing between tree branches.

Suddenly, I see a beautiful squirrel hopping in the tree branches, it seemed like it was chasing something, or just playing along. It then quickly jumped out from the tree, holding something, ran across the sidewalk, and sat on the window of a building.

When I approached the squirrel, I noticed it was holding something and that something was still moving. Seeing what this squirrel was doing, made stop abruptly and pull my phone in order to memorialize the happening. The squirrel was eating something. What do you think it was eating?

I always thought squirrels were somewhat clean rodents. Little did I know that they can actually eat birds. Yes, this viscous squirrel was holding and eating a little helpless bird.

I still can't get over what I have seen today...that darn squirrel...
