✳ Spread Your Light and Your Glory!
Kvod = "The brightness that no one has the ability to face, but that illuminates clouds and all the people" According the tradition of the Hebrew people. For Christians like me, this sparkle is called "Glory," which is: "The brightness that makes it shine."
Reflecting on "Glory," For me it means happiness, perfection, a state of peace with oneself and others, a sense of victory and success that are ideal pursued by all of us throughout our lives, regardless of faith that we practice or believe. Human life is an eternal "hunting" or pursuit of happiness. Happiness at work, in the relationship with our family, friends and in love with partners or companions.
Happiness is also a search for our freedom, the freedom to do whatever we want with our lives, with our bodies, with our goods, as long as it does not interfere in the freedom of the other, it must be our goal in this life. On the contrary, if we do not seek or practice freedom in our lives, we let pass opportunities that we can certainly regret for not having taken advantage of and it will be too late.
I once read in a catholic priest's book that: "Our brilliance or our light, the light we emanate for others around us, is measured according to our humility." This sounded very deep to me, and I wonder: How many times in our day to day do we let vanity take care of us? How often do we think we are superior to others? I think that these negative attitudes mean that as time goes by we can stay without that "brilliance", this "glory" and as our light goes out, we disappear to the point that no one else sees us and we end up being...Forgotten. Certainly a great lesson for us to reflect on our attitudes.
Spreading light, seeking our glory, practicing freedom, seeking happiness and making others happy are always our goals in this life.
