My Life as a Sports Trader (ENG)
Hello Friends!
I met the sports trader to about six years, at a time when he was at the beginning this trading mode in Brazil. Like any market that emerges as a great opportunity for financial growth also comes the false promises of easy gains, the opportunists who want to fool novice and fancy strategies to achieve win without much effort, without need technical analysis and watch the game.
Football is a box of surprises, good and bad. One team that seems unbeatable all season one day can lose. Similarly, with respect to goals. Even that team or league that we know can happen many goals, one day we can catch a game with a clear over and the same end in a bitter 0x0, this has happened to me several times and financial losses were immense.
The good part is that I could give myself the luxury of trying some of these "foolproof strategies" without exposing all my investment for this new challenge, this career I decided to follow. I broke some stalls, I count 6 or 7 during this journey and I am aware that all of them were due to my anxiety, lack of emotional control and often greed, overconfidence.
An advantage of the sports trading market for the pure bet as we used to see is that in the sports trading you don't need necessarily win with the final result of the game, but with the oscillations of the "odds", which is event likely to occur during the game. The lower the odds, the greater the probability of the event occurring. In view of this, we need not be exposed for a long time during the game to win with these oscillations and we can do some other activity or starting to work on some other game.
There are so many analysis strategies of a game and I've applied more than 90% of them on my route. Some I adapted, I had any gains, others committed my bankroll. So my advice to those who want to start in this "World of Bet" is to have very critical sense, calm, serenity and not risk what is not willing to lose. A universal law in this world and the consensus of sports traders is not to risk more than 10% on your entry. Keep this in mind and do not do crazy things because the "red" does not forgive.
Today after all these years I learned a lot from my mistakes in this market. Of course, I don't yet bought no mansion, I don't have a car imported or I traveled the world with my winnings on sports trading, but today I am more confident, mature and conscious of what I have to do to be able have small gains, but consistent in this Marketplace.
My motto is:
Slow and steady.
There can never be too much Sports on Steemit!!! :)
I don't have enough SP to compete.😁 I like very much the work of Steem Sports.✌
Slow and Steady looks good to me.
Cool stuff!

Nice to see a fellow trader here! :)
Thank you very much @spiz0r. This is only one of the occupations that I have and I really like to get back-lay. :)
To be honest , I never knew there was a thing such as a " Sports Trader " . Do you trade only in Football ?
Yes. My specialty is football, but I know traders who work with tennis, basketball and other sports.
Since 2001 anyone on Betfail or other exchange can be considered a Sports Trader as long as they open and then leave their position on a football match. Footy though is a straight road to a poor house
