WHAT WILL YOU BE REMEMBERED FOR?

We are all given one chance to life even if we lived a hundred years on earth, every purpose we have,every dream we nurture, every meaningful discussion we have to make and every mistake and lessons we will learn is going to be fulfilled in this one life. It is not how long you lived your life that matters,it how well you lived it, even if is for a second.so if we lived life carelessly and died before our time it means our dreams, purpose all comes to an end.photo credit: pixabay image
Cherished your life because when once it is lost it cannot be found. People are running after different things in life it could be wealth, fame,joy,etc. The question now comes what are you running after in your life, or should I say what will you be remembered for?? I had a friend in school we got to know each other as a result of a project we were working on I still remember a day before our defense day she called all of us we were three in number after eating the food she prepared,gisting and all that, she now called my name and said "joy after our defense tomorrow we will go our separate ways destiny may decide to bring us together again or not, if our paths never crossed again what will you remember me for " I wasn't sure of what to answer at that point because it may sound like a simple question but it requires great sense of humor.
Wherever you find your self be it your community, school, church, association or relationship I want you to ask your self this question if it happens tomorrow your breath is being seized from you or you happen to leave your current location to another place what legacy will you leave behind,what will people miss about you, what will you be remembered for, Will people wish to have you back or will they be grateful for your absence.photo credit:pixabay image
We live in a world where people have become other people's terror, hurt and destroy other people's lives in one way or the other without thinking twice, remember no matter what you are running after in live is all vanity because just as we are given one chance to life so it is to death. Whatever you are running after in life let it not be at the expense of another person happiness, realize that wherever you find your self is an opportunity for you to make a positive legacy people will remember you for and lived towards that goal, then you can say that you have lived a great and fulfilled life no matter the years you have lived. Till now we still remember Mother Teresa for that singular act she did. As long as we lived on this earth we will always be remembered for something, will you be remembered for good works or for evil deeds? I pray that whenever people remember us they will have reasons to smile,to thank God for creating us and wish us well wherever we are.
