Bad religious belief and political party

Gandhi once said that those who think Religion and Politics ain't connected don't understand either. Though a wise man and knowledgeable, what Mahatma Gandhi didn't put into consideration was that human factor could change every thing in existence. Though, many of us might claim we do not like politics and politicians, but in many retrospect; these politicians still fairs more than half of the Religious Leaders in Africa and in the World as a Whole. The acclaimed men of Gods and spiritual leaders hides behind the doctrines of Islam or Christianity, maybe Judaism or Buddhism and commit the greatest and unspeakable atrocities, more than what a word of the mouth could describe.
The only connection between politics and Religion is that, something rules supreme more than the fundamentals principles, that which reign is selfish interests!

Religious leaders are hypocritical bigots, whose opinions are always right so far the have some scriptures or inscriptions to back it all up. Politicians are corrupt by nature, at least most of them all over the World. They lie to get into public offices and then use these positions of power to rub the people who elected them into office in the face.

They are forgiven, or perhaps no one holds grudges against them because it is part of the system. But Religious leaders on the other hands tricks the people and with different doctrines just to get into their pockets in Offerings and tithe-wise. Painfully a corrupt political office holder would take embezzled public funds and still bring it back to the Religious leaders as gifts and offerings and still gets a blessing from doing so from this spiritual leaders.

One thing that distinct them both is the charitable efforts of this acclaimed crooked and corrupt politicians more than the spiritual leaders who takes from the rich, poor and the thieves all in the name of Religion and maybe a god!

There is no debate about where most of this Government office holders gets their funds, same thing goes for the Religious leaders taking the funds donated to Churches and other places of worship to enrich themselves and still ask for more occasionally form their congregation. Painfully, many fall victims to the gimmicks of this so called Religious leaders and hence go bankrupt trying to impress them.

This are two evils with glorified names. Religion is as bad as politics and so are the stake holders, the truth is who and what gets into the minds and hearts of the public and the followers of Religions and what their leaders stipulates.

No doubts, not all Religious leaders are bad. Just like a few Politicians too still have their integrity intact. This are the ones who faces allegations and impeachment threats in office, or a spiritual leader that gets persecuted by high authorities for their Non-Compromising belief.
