The skin color makes us UNIQUE, it does not make us LESS. GIVE A STOP TO RACISM.

This is something that for many seems to be unimportant, but I really consider it a big social problem. I have had the opportunity to see how they make fun of someone just because of their skin color and I did not like it at all, it is not even tolerable for me to see it on television through a movie.

Bearing in mind that in Venezuela the entire population is completely mestizo, a mixture of several races: "White, blacks and aborigines", and with the passage of time have also been added to this miscegenation a large number of races and cultures, which has made even more varied. This is the reality of many other countries in which miscegenation was the result of colonization.

There are other realities such as Trinidad and Tobago, that the majority of its population is black, and many other islands and countries of Central America, in short, variety is what characterizes our American continent.

I know that there is a strong influence of social media in this aspect, often presenting as part of their programming films in which the protagonists are almost always blond, identified as super heroes, making that race is seen as the "ideal" "They also always show dark-skinned people as thugs (and Latinos too, but this is another issue), or if it's a horror movie they're always the first to die, for example.

Another thing is the advertisements of perfumes, makeup, and other articles, in which the majority of the models are white skinned, giving this a reinforcement in the vision that the white or blonde race is the "beauty model", taking note that most people spend a lot of hours watching television, including children, having this much influence from an early age on how they are forging the vision of beauty.

We must highlight the development and achievements of the black race in sports, it is more than evident that they are always among the best.

In my family there are people of different skin colors, size, shape of hair, I would not like to know that by merely superficial characteristics are denigrated, I think nobody would like that.

It is clear that in recent years progress has been made in this area, we have seen that there are more black actors and actresses, who have occupied large positions in the film industry, and I emphasize this "cinematic" aspect because they are media of mass, which definitely determine a good part of the behavior of the population, I do not know to what extent it is made with the intention of achieving that effect but they do so without wanting to (which I doubt).

But there is still a long way to go until we reach that point where all races are seen as equals, since we all are the same.

If these racist people gave themselves the chance to talk to the human, without paying attention to the color of their skin, it would be evident that as human beings there are no differences between them, and they would surely realize that we all have much to give, to contribute.
We are all equal, even inside, I say it with all certainty since my profession has allowed me to be in the operating room with many people of different skin color, and believe it:

(Regardless of the façade, of the figures they may have in their bank accounts, of the area where they live, the degree of academic instruction they have)
The blood is red, the organs are located where they work and the same, so if the skin is a little clearer they think they are better or different, they are wrong, we are the same.

This comment is not to provoke discussions, but to call attention to it. Since it is something that worries me, and a lot.
I am a scientist, and I believe in the theory of evolution, I also believe that all humanity has its origin in the African continent and from there they migrated to other parts of the world (theories supported by scientific studies, in fossil records, among many other things ), considering that, I affirm that there is much that we owe to the black race.

So far my dissertation on this topic, I know that there are many points of view around this issue, and everyone has the right to have it, I only ask that the possibility be considered that in the world we are all equal, that we enjoy the same rights, and also duties, and the main thing is to respect ourselves as humans who live in this same land.

Thankyouforreading.

Until a new post.
