Despite all the progress that the psychological and neurological sciences may have made, dreams will remain an enigmatic terrain. And hopefully so, then one of the fundamental sources of aesthetic creation, particularly literary creation, would run out. The relationship between mind (where it would include both thought, imagination and dreams) and reality is very complex, ungraspable, almost ineffable. Surely some dreams will materialize, and others will remain in the indeterminate space of being.
