Lecheria - Venezuela
Lechería is a Venezuelan city located northeast of Anzoátegui State, capital of the licensed tourist municipality Diego Bautista Urbaneja, has a population of 61 456 inhabitants1 distributed in 12 km², as a curious fact the municipality where the city of Lechería is located, is the municipality of Venezuela with the longest name, at the same time it is the smallest municipality and one of the richest in Venezuela. Due to its proximity to Barcelona (state capital), Puerto la Cruz and Guanta, it is one of the largest and most important metropolitan areas in eastern Venezuela.
Lechería is also the administrative headquarters of the Parish Dairy, which has two sectors: commercial Dairy, which is crossed by the Main Avenue, with its shopping centers distributed on both sides of the road and many modern houses; On the other hand, towards the beaches is Lechería viejo (central center), for the amount of modern buildings and old houses, it is considered the residential area.
Cerro El Morro is a great attraction of the city, which many people climb on foot, by bicycle and car to exercise or to enjoy the panoramic view.
The word "Lechería" is also used to indicate the entire Urbaneja Municipality, for which the El Morro Tourist Complex is also called part of Dairy although it belongs to the El Morro Parish.
