First of all "Rhapsody" is a type of piece of music of the nineteenth century and even much earlier but its greatest peak was in the nineteenth century and consists of different themes that occur without pause.

And the word "Bohemia" refers to the city of Bohemia, now Czech Republic, formerly Central-Eastern Europe, where Dr. Faustus in the story of Goethe makes a pact with the devil in exchange for gaining fame as an alchemist and then die tragically.

In turn Goethe's story was inspired by Johannes Faustus known as "the Prince of the necromancers" who was a magician, astrologer, fortune teller, healer and alchemist friend of other alchemists such as Cornelius Agrippa and Theophrastus Paracelsus

But returning to the central theme "The Bohemian Rhapsody" to be a piece composed of 7 parts or acts very similar to an opera was the masterpiece of Queen composed by Freddy Mercury and included in the album "A night at the opera" (1975 )

The first act is a cappella, the second and third a ballad, the fourth act a guitar solo, the fifth act operates, the sixth act rock and the seventh or last a coda or final act.

FIRST ACT: The pact The protagonist is a poor boy (Poor boy) so he decides to make a pact with the devil because his soul does not care (anyway the wind blows, it does not really matter to me)

The phrase "Wind blows" or the "wind blows" refers to the breath (Wind) of the life given by God, which in itself is the spirit of God that lies over us in a few words the soul.

SECOND ACT: Confess to his mother the pact He tells his mother that he murdered a man who is the same for being condemned (Mama, just killed a man) and that despite being young (life had just begun) decided to ruin everything with the pact (I've gone and thrown it all away)

He also tells him that because of that he could die at any time (if I'm not back again this time tomorrow) and if that happens he will continue with his life as if it did not matter (carry on, carry on, as if nothing really matters )

THIRD ACT: His death It's his time to die (too late, my time has come) he says goodbye to his relatives (goodbye everybody) and tells his mother that he does not want to die while he cries (Mama, ooo, I do not want to die) and wishes not having been born to never have made that pact.

FOURTH ACT: The crying of the mother This is represented by Brian May making "Cry" the guitar in solo when his sound begins to increase with intensity.

FIFTH ACT: The fight between angels and demons for his soul He begins to see the astral plane seeing his soul (I see a little silhouetto of a man) and demons that scare him (Thunderbolt and lightning- very, very frightening me)

Demons are represented in many works and films as rays because when they fell from the sky it was similar to how lightning strikes, in Luke 10:18 Jesus Christ said to see the devil falling like lightning from heaven.

His mother then asks for him saying that he is just a poor boy from a poor family and that this led him to make the pact (He's just a poor boy from a poor family) and begs to be saved from being taken by the demons (spare him his life from this monstrosity)

So the angels come to fight for their souls by telling the demons "Bishmilah!" That means "In the name of God" let him go (let him go), but the demons refuse telling him not to let him go (Will not let you go, no, no, no no, no)

Then he sees himself in the middle of such a crowd, tells his mother to stop asking for him because even the devil "Beelzebub" has put a demon at his side to take him (Mama mia, Mama mia, Mama mia let me go , Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me)

SIXTH ACT: The devil claims The devil appears claiming saying: "perhaps you think you can make fun of me" (So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye) "You think you can turn to me and then leave me" (So you think you can love me and leave me to die)

But seeing that his demons are losing against the angels fighting for the soul of man, he chooses to flee from the place (Just gotta get out, just gotta get right outta here)

SEVENTH ACT: He announces that the song is his confession 🎶 He does not care that people see and know (Nothing really matters, anyone can see) and recover his soul (Anyway the wind blows)

That final line is followed by a hit by Roger Taylor to a gong, an instrument used in monasteries in the far east of China to heal anyone and eliminate evil spirits, so it is used in ceremonies.

So maybe Freddie Mercury managed to outwit the devil and preserve his soul or maybe not, we'll never know that but what we do know is that he was one of the greatest artists in the history of music. END

PD: To the next millenial that you see saying that your favorite band is "Bohemian Rhapsody", show him this thread and tell him that Beelzebub will appear to them for talking bullshit without knowing.
