As for the debate over NSFW / porn / sex ... sex is a big part of life and is not something to be locked away in a dark closet.

Do I want my five year old looking at a DP gif? Of course not. Do I want DP gifs on Steemit? Absolutely.

Posts tagged with NSFW require age verified account to view, same as any other adult content. Account holder clicks a check box in account profile indicating they are 18+. Done.

Adult content not tagged NSFW gets downvoted to oblivion by the content police. Responsible, upstanding adult content producers will thrive.

Porn will take Steemit mainstream if it is embraced and managed properly - there is literally no better medium in existence. The potential is tremendous. And while I'm not a programmer when I look at the talent on the dev side I think this community is more than capable of creating a thriving adult content sub that keeps the adult stuff away from the kids.
