Out of curiousity, did you notice any color changes to your photo when you uploaded on Steepshot? I just tested it out and it wouldn't upload the 17MB JPG, or the 6MB JPG, finally after making it 2MB it worked, but once uploaded into a post, the colors were noticeably faded in vibrance and the exposure was lower as well. I checked the 2MB file on my computer, and it's not on that end, seems like it's the upload. Grrrr.
