Yes, I'm familiar with this. The fact that flax is not good for causing bad estrogen in women concerns me. Thank you for your reply, however!

I just think that these studies are so mixed and not many people know how it works. For example here is an article that says flax might have a protective effect on cancer (http://blog.aicr.org/2017/06/06/healthtalk-flaxseed-and-breast-cancer/) It's like anyone can have a blog now, put up some study and say things are "good" or "bad". When really things are much more complicated. I'm certainly not "picking on" your article - but all of these "health blogs" are typically recycled information that is taken out of context. What was the dose? For how long? Was this a study? Was it a double-blind? What was the hypothesis? etc.

However, I DO appreciate you bringing awareness to health concerns. The more people are aware, typically the better they eat.
