celebrating anticipation
Hello Urik. I hope all is well. Is my car ready? If not, I would love to visit to look at it.
I baked mochi cakes for the auto body shop and visited my baby. She's doing well and getting some extra special love from a nice team of folks. Urik's wife said she'd like to find a newer steering wheel. My car is getting loved! Urik and her are a sweet couple. I love mom and pops businesses. I sense that everyone is happy to work at the shop and are proud of their work.
My friend in Belgium called Urik to make sure his friend looked after me. He checked on me the day before as well....also to tell me to buy bitcoin while it's dipping.
Not sure when my car will be ready. Finding parts is the tricky part. But there's no gray cloud to reign my days. Though I've been under the weather and my body's still hurting from the accident, I'm surrounded by friends and their generous spirit. I am grateful and that seems to push away impatience. I forget my pain for a little while.
No time to feel frustrated and sick when friends show up with vitamins and a bowl of soup. No need to be upset that car is not ready when friends are assuring you that you are in good hands and loans you their car to drive.
Despite the hiccups of life, I am reminded to enjoy the path and not stare at the potholes. I was able to bake and celebrate anticipation.
