Emotional immaturity!

Reading a little bit of emotional intelligence, I used this concept of "emotional immaturity". Which leads me to a question and to investigate a little, in case that intelligence and emotions are linked, the part of maturity is fundamental for the development of our intellectual capacities ...?

It may sound obvious, but I did my work, starting as usual, by defining two basic concepts such as maturity and emotional, respectively.
Maturity:

"Period of life in which the fullness of life has been reached and not yet reached old age"
"Good judgment or prudence, good sense"

We can say that maturity would be the state to which every human being and even animal comes, in which he is able to deal with the different circumstances that life presents us, in a responsible and prudent way. Not only this, already in the first concept dictated by the rae is shaped to reach a fullness of life, so, if we link everything, we would give something like this:
It is that period of life in which a fullness is reached, both psychologically and in our lives, that allows us to make good decisions, in a responsible way and always giving a good judgment to the circumstances.

Now knowing that it is maturity, it is easy to say that immaturity is anything that is not mature, otherwise it lacks these characteristics previously named. They are usually beings that will depend on their vast majority of third parties to carry their day to day with total normality.

Emotional:

"Belonging or relating to emotion"
"Emotional (‖ sensitive to emotions)"

For those who think that the concept to be defined was "emotion", they must know that I have already spoken directly of the emotion and for this reason I move to the concept of "emotional", to get more into context.
When we refer to emotional it is only those sensitive individuals, to the emotions and able to perceive their feelings. They do not necessarily control them.

Now that we have the definition of both concepts, what do they have to do with each other and with intelligence? Emotions will be linked to our evolutionary course, which means that when we are children our environment influences in such a way that it can mold us sentimentally, to a certain extent, since all this is seen as a process of realization, which Gives the concept of maturity.
For example, a child will depend almost entirely on others, as I said in childhood greatly influences the environment in which he reared and his parents. But as we grow, we are believing more in our efforts, seeing what we are and not able to achieve. In adolescence, we are victims of our emotions, causing happiness or sadness, if we do wrong or things.

While when we reach adulthood, we are supposed to assimilate what we feel as our own, we no longer blame anyone who happens to us and we become the main artifice of what we do or say, and failing that That we feel.

Giving an answer to insanity ...

If we are mature emotionally speaking, our abilities of an intellectual level are greater, but this is not there. Since intelligence is not governed by the level of maturity, I explain, there are children and even adults who possess a very high intellectual level or are capable of surprising things, when applied in what is theirs, more, however, when Tries to deal with other items of life, you see the sewing and you can talk about an emotional immaturity. Emotional maturity, then, is important, increases our chances of success and being better off with ourselves, but as always we can find case histories.
