A day like today (The little prince)

A few years ago, my parents read me a book, which leaves an open mind to the imagination when we are little and entertains a very good time, that book was "The Little Prince." It is one of the most rich and beautiful readings that is read in life, is already considered a classic of literature so much so that already a good time after its publication is still recommended and read today for all ages. This month turns 74 years since its first publication, so I decided to do a little homage, publishing something short that reminds us of this piece of literature and showing you how important it is for me.

Let us begin with the data that revolve around the book "The Little Prince" or as it is originally known in France "Le Petit Prince" written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry was released on April 6, 1943, through the publisher Éditions Gallimard, in France and in the USA by Reynal & Hitchcock, both in print. The illustrations were done in watercolor and by the same Antoine, the translated version would not arrive if not 7 years later.

This book tells the story of a pilot who falls in the desert due to a breakdown, in this desert knows the prince and begins a fantastic story of the narrator (who is the pilot) and the little prince who comes from another planet. I will not dwell on the history of the book for anyone who cares to read it and take them by surprise. This is a poetic and philosophical work, which leaves us many teachings and reflections regarding society, and even after spending 74 years, problems that concern us today.

Much is said about the characters, and what were their influences for the creation of them, in addition to certain events within the book narrate experiences that had the author, since this also performed as an aviation pilot, hence that scene In which it falls in the desert since the author, in real life, suffered a similar accident.

With regard to inspiration as to the little prince, it is uncertain, since it is not fully known in whom it was based to do so. It is said that I take things from the, when I was little or inspired by your child to create it, there are many hypotheses, if you know for sure who inspired, please tell me. The rose that appears in history, refers to the Salvadoran wife of Antoine and his bad attitude, while the trees (baobabs) refer to the Nazi movement that was at the moment and how it consumed the world.

This is the Little Prince, I hope you liked it and if you have not read it animence do it, with the passage of time there were multiple adaptations of theater and even television, but nothing like the literary work and those illustrations done in watercolor. The most beautiful thing this book has and the magic it conveys is that every time we read it we can give a different interpretation, when I read it as a child I thought it was great and fun, but after seeing it from a different perspective and even I think it was great, I even wrote the sentences and the teachings, in about 20 years I'm sure to read it again and the meaning will not be the same, that's the magic of this piece.
