The photograph of the day No to Violence of Women
November 25th International Day of "Non-violence against Women" decree of the General Assembly of the United Nations. Project submitted by the Dominican Republic, with the support of 60 Countries.
The origin of the commemoration dates back to the 1960s known as "unforgettable butterflies".
In homage to the Three Sisters who were brutally murdered Maria Teresa, Patria and Minerva Mirabal in the Dominican Republic.
This date is consolidated for International Meditation.

Even better than stop violence against women, how about #stopabusiverelationships or #stopviolenceperiod because men suffer from violent relationships too. Abuse is wrong no matter which gender.
So true @mistertechguy01 - men are also violently abused. My husband had abusive ex-wives - yes, plural. One nearly knocked him out with a heavy glass ash tray. The other stuck a stiletto in his back. There were more incidents but those were the most extreme which required stitches. I like #stopviolenceperiod best
Violence in men and women must not exist, we are human beings have the possibility to reason our actions. Gender violence should not be accepted under any circumstance
Today November 25 is the international day of non-violence to women, there is another day is not well when it is the day of internment of gender violence, there is for both sexes.

Picture the seven dwarves and Snow White and all eight of them are murdered. This is the proportion of homicide victims' genders in Argentina, Canada and Spain. Then the media talks about violence against women but ignore the 8 times larger issue of violence among people. The false idea that men do not experience violence too creates conflict between men and women.
Now homicides in Spain are one seventh per capita than in Argentina. Yet this proportion remains 1:7. Perhaps men can learn from women. Perhaps the
HispanicEuropean American culture being more averse to violence against women than man enforces this ratio 😏. I think someday we can bring homicide rates down to near zero.
