The Best cold bean-soup noodle in Seoul

Today, I would like to introduce you the best cold bean-soup noodle in Seoul.
The word " best " in my mind, it's my subjective judgment, but if you try it, you can understand why you should put the "best".

Jinju-House is located in Yeoido department store's underground food court. A lot of customers visit there at meal time so if you taste it, you would better go there before 11:30.
I visited the restaurant around 11:30 and about 20 or 30 guests were waiting.

Jinju-House's menu is so simple. Cold bean-soup noodle, spicy mixed noodle, chicken-soup noodle and dumpling is all they have.

I always order extra dumplings all the time, because it is fantastic.
Skin of dumpling is very chewy and it's filled up with the delicious meats, vegetalbes.
Also dumpling can make me warm besides cold bean-soup noodle is very cold, and entertain me in the mouth.

Can you see thick texture of the soup? and there is nothing but bean!
(Usually there are cucumbers and seasame seeds, penuts in cold bean-soup noodle in Korea)

Unlike a thick appearance, the soup is very smooth and can't feel any particles in it. It's finely grounded.

This Kimchi is the pride of Jinju-House. Specially crunchy shredded radish is the best thing.
It make greate harmonize with cold bean-soup noodle.

오늘은 서울 '최고'의 콩국수집을 소개 하고자 합니다. '최고 라는 단어를 넣은 것은 다분히 주관적이지만 한번이라도 진주집 콩국수를 드셔보셨다면 왜 제가 최고라는 단어를 붙였는지 이해하실 수 있을겁니다.

여의도백화점 지하식당가에 위치한 진주집은 큰 맘먹고 방문 하셔야할 곳 입니다. 워낙 손님이 많아 식사시간에 방문할 경우 대기시간이 길 수 있습니다. 제가 방문한 11시 30분에도 식당안은 만원이었고 대기 손님이20~30명 가량 되었습니다.

진주집의 메뉴는 단촐합니다. 대표음식인 콩국수와 비빔국수, 닭칼국수 그리고 접시만두가 전부 이지요.
어떤 메뉴를 주문하여도 저는 항상 만두를 함께 즐깁니다.

소를 꽉채운 쫄깃한 식감의 만두피가 일품입니다. 차가운 콩국수의 부족한 온기를 보충해주며, 제 입을 즐겁게 해줍니다.

메인메뉴인 콩국수입니다. 걸쭉한 국물이 보이시나요? 그 흔한 오이고명과 보통 올라가는 참깨, 땅콩이 없는 그야말로 콩만 들어간 국물입니다.
걸쭉한 생김새와는 달리 콩은 입자를 느낄수 없을 정도로 곱게 갈았나 봅니다. 한 숟갈 떠먹으면 고소하고 깊은 맛이 느껴집니다.

진주집의 자랑거리 김치 입니다. 국수집에서 보기힘든 보쌈김치 스타일이지요. 아삭한 무채가 일품이며 너무 달지도 짜지도 않고 적당합니다.
고소한 콩국물과 잘 어우러지는 그런 맛입니다.
