My Son asked me that question the other day. (They get three questions each before bed). I gave him a fairly coherent answer but nowhere near as good as your explanation. He can read this now. Thanks Man
You're welcome Jist. I do enjoy informing people in a more simple way about physical processes that occur in our everyday lives that we don't normally consider.
A lot of people that study sciences normally explian with too much complication. I have a saying " keep it simple stupid".
