Basic needs

Despite today’s amazing technological advancements, the majority of humanity still suffers from a lack of fulfilling basic necessities, such as food, water, shelter, medical care, etc. This tragic reality can be attributed mainly to the prevailing economic and political systems, which remain obstacles in our way towards reaping the possible fruits of the advanced technology we have now, towards a world where everyone’s basic needs are met
.
In light of this astonishing advancement in knowledge sharing and developing innovative energy and food producing technologies, and due to the fact that the world is becoming increasingly interdependent, we must work on re-modelling our status-quo political and economic systems so they provide every human being with the minimum they need to live without the fear and the stress resulting from the struggle to fulfill the basic needs. Moreover, the responsibility of states is not only confined to guaranteeing their citizens’ rights and needs, but also they should work to guarantee the rights of human beings wherever possible outside their borders, especially when these states are home to multinational companies exploiting people of other states for cheap labor, resources, or as markets
.
Achieving this strategic target will be a huge step towards putting an end to internal and international conflicts. It is a great leap towards unleashing our real potential, which is vainly wasted the struggle for minimal needs

I seek a future devoid of injustice and suffering. This world on so many levels is painted with injustice. With injustice comes suffering. Suffering comes from those who reject others because of their race, religion, ethnic or political beliefs. We the people of this small planet must rise up.....one by one and where we see hatred....show love and tolerance, where we see hunger.....extend a helping hand. War is not the answer. Movements of respect, acceptance, kindness and knowledge are needed. We must look at each other as potential allies and not enemies. Change takes place one person at a time. Do not wait for government or religious groups to start the change...the change starts in our hearts and with each of us. I stand against racism and against intolerance. Teach your children well.....teach them the better side of humanity. Learn the lessons of History; let us not be doomed to repeat them.

Let us recognize our humanity in their simplicity and harmony without the chaotic details that divide us. The many details are nothing but an attempt to beautify what seems without it distorted and empty. The fine and harmonious lines remain beautiful despite the simplicity of those lines
