POLAR COMPANY IN ITS BEGINNINGS AND PRODUCTIONS

Empresas Polar is a Venezuelan industrial corporation whose productive activities cover the sectors of food, alcoholic beverages, soft drinks and consumer products under its subsidiaries Alimentos Polar, Cervecería Polar, and Pepsi-Cola Venezuela.

In the small parish where the foundations of a company were forged, which from the very moment in which it became a project, was destined to become one of the main companies in the country. • Polar Brewery: Factory beers, and non-alcoholic beverages based on malt. Its main products are Polar Beer in its different versions and Maltín Polar Malt.
• Bodegas Pomar: specializes in the production of wines and sangria from own vineyards.
• Polar Food: Includes different industrial plants such as rice, oats and corn processors, the latter in the forms of pre-cooked flour and oil, pasta factories, margarines, vinegars, mayonnaise, sauces, sea food processors, jams, chocolate drink, ice cream, balanced feed for animals, soaps, detergents and fabric softeners.
• Pepsi Venezuela: Is the group in charge of the production of soft drinks, juices, cold tea, mineral water, sports drinks, energy drinks and slightly gasified.
Empresas Polar has 28 plants and 191 agencies, branches and distribution centers in Venezuela, a food production plant in Colombia and another one for malt and Flour Bread in the United States.
