"Song of Thanksgiving" some thoughts for this time of year.
This time of year, things often sound cliché,
Things repeated, sometimes lose their meaning.
However, important things we must say,
Even if our eyes, with tears are gleaming.

I am thankful for the skies above me,
So blue with fluffy clouds.
For the breezes that gently blow my hair,
And the friends of which I’m proud.
♥
For the fields and streams and all the forests,
Which purify my air,
Beauty fills my spirit; joy uncontained,
All I can do is stare.
♦
So even though what I say may sound trite,
Keep gratitude in your heart and your mind,
Never let love and care out of your sight.
Always be grateful; most of all be kind.
